| 2008: Iraq exported 60 million barrels of oil in March |

April 27, 2008 Total Iraqi oil exports during March 2008 hit nearly 60 million barrels, according to the official spokesman for the oil ministry on Sunday. "Iraq exported 59.400 million barrels of oil during the month of March, compared to 56.100 million barrels during February," Asim Jihad told Aswat al-Iraq – Voices of Iraq – (VOI). "Oil revenues last month hit $5.644 billion against $5.037 million in February," he said, adding "the rate of Iraqi oil sale during March reached $95.02 per barrel. "Total crude oil exported from the ports of Basra and Khour al-Amiya during March hit 49.500 million barrels while that exported from the oilfields in Kirkuk via the Turkish port of Ceyhan hit 9.900 million barrels," Jihad said.
