200 new houses built in Falluja

An Iraqi construction company has begun the development of a residential compound of 200 low-cost houses in northern Falluja city.

“The project’s total cost is ID6.998 billion,” Umar Abid Dali, a member of the Falluja Mayoralty’s media office, told Aswat al-Iraq news agency on Wednesday.

He said that the compound is part of the 2010 investment plan.

Falluja, the biggest city of Anbar province, lies 45 km west of Baghdad.
